1. Scope and controller
This Privacy Notice applies to PayDrion websites, merchant onboarding, dashboards, APIs, hosted payment experiences and support interactions operated by GROOTS TECHNOEDGE PRIVATE LIMITED. A merchant may separately act as the data fiduciary or controller for its own customer relationship.
The notice should be read with the applicable merchant agreement, product terms and transaction-specific notices.
2. Information we process
Depending on the interaction, we may process business identity and ownership details, contact information, account and settlement details, user credentials and roles, technical logs, device and network signals, transaction references, beneficiary information, support records and legally required verification evidence.
PayDrion does not ask merchants to store raw card credentials in their own systems. Sensitive payment fields should be handled only through approved payment flows and responsible partners.
3. Why we process it
Information is processed to evaluate onboarding, provide and secure services, authenticate users, route and reconcile transactions, prevent misuse, respond to support requests, maintain records, comply with law and improve service reliability.
Where consent is the appropriate basis, the relevant interface should make the purpose and action clear before information is submitted.
4. Sharing and processors
Information may be shared with contracted infrastructure providers, banking partners, payment networks, verification providers, professional advisers, regulators or law-enforcement bodies where necessary and lawful.
Each product can involve a different partner chain. Merchants should review the product schedule and customer notice for the specific flow.
5. Retention and security
Records are retained only for the period reasonably required for the stated purpose, contractual obligations, dispute handling, fraud prevention and applicable legal or regulatory retention.
Controls may include encryption in transit, access restriction, credential protection, monitoring, audit logging, vulnerability management and incident procedures. No internet service can promise absolute security.
6. User choices and rights
Subject to applicable law and identity verification, individuals may ask about their information, request correction of inaccurate data, raise an objection or grievance, or request deletion where retention is not legally or operationally required.

7. Cookies and technical data
The website may use strictly necessary storage for security, preferences and session continuity. Analytics or optional technologies should be enabled only in line with the displayed consent choices and configured deployment.
